OUR STORY

As a girl, I was influenced by two amazing and talented bakers.  My mom and my grandmother.   

I remember visits with my grandmother.  Her home always smelled of freshly baked cakes.  I remember baking with her and experimenting with ingredients.   A cottage baker in her day.  My other influence is my mom, who is always baking delicious cookies, cakes, pies and cheesecakes.  My favorite is her Butternut cake.  My passion for baking came from my influences. 

I am happy to name my cottage bakery Sweet Bessie's after my grandmother Bessie Ziler. 

At Sweet Bessie's, we believe in the value of homemade, handcrafted quality baked goods. Not only do they warm the home, but our products will definitely warm your heart.
